Namutoni is a village and a restcamp in Northern Namibia. It is located in Etosha National Park at the eastern edge of the Etosha pan. It is the site of a fort that was originally a German police post and later as a place to hold English prisoners in World War I. The fort was restored to its present state in 1957. Namutoni is one of the three restcamps located within Etosha National Park. |
