NASA TV (originally '''NASA Select''') is the Television Network of the US Space agency, NASA . NASA TV is broadcast by Satellite , and also Simulcast over the Internet . Many local Cable Television systems across the US and Canada carry the channel, as do some Amateur Television Repeater s like N4NFP . The station provides a large amount of Education al programming, and also covers NASA space Launch es and Mission s (such as the Space Shuttle ) live. Analog NASA TV transmissions ceased in late 2005 after a period of dual analog/digital transmission, although it may still be available on analog cable TV systems.
