Brian Eno's Ambient albums. It is a
Conceptual work intended as a soundtrack for imaginary films.
Music For Airports was also in this vein (released just months apart) as that album was designed to be continuously looped as a sound installation, with the intent to defuse the tense, anxious atmosphere of an airport terminal.
