Moore Park is a large area of parkland to the south-east of central Sydney , Australia , and is continuous with another, even larger park, Centennial Park , to its east. Both areas are Suburb s in their own right.

Moore Park is the location of two of Sydney's largest sporting venues: Sydney Cricket Ground , Aussie Stadium (formerly the Sydney Football Stadium ) , and the Hordern Pavilion , a multipurpose entertainment venue. It also was the location of the former Sydney Showground , the site of the Sydney Royal Easter Show until 1998 , when it moved to Homebush Bay (the site of the 2000 Olympic Games ). The old showgrounds have since been redeveloped as Fox Studios , a commercial venture designed at supporting Australia's Film industry.

The south-western corner of the park boasts a significant shopping mall, the Moore Park Supa Centre. This was the former Dowling St Tram depot.

Moore Park is also the location of Sydney Boys High School , one of the most well-known secondary schools in Sydney.
