MISS TEEN USA TITLEHOLDERS TRIVIA A common misconception is that Kari Ann Peniche was Miss Teen USA and that she lost her crown due to some nude photos. She was Miss Oregon Teen USA 2002 and competed for Miss Teen USA 2002. She did not place or win any awards at the national pageant. She did, however, become Miss United States Teen 2003.
