The Militant Clerics League ( Iran ian Political Party , established March 16 , 1988 . It is not to be confused with the Militant Clergy Association (Persian: جامعه روحانیت مبارز) which is a conservative political party. HISTORY Tensions within Iran's Islamic Republic Party led to its dissolution in 1987. The Militant Clerics League was part of the left-wing view favoring a focus "on exporting the revolution and calling for the state's monopoly over the economy."
