George joined Radio Wyvern (now Wyvern FM ) in Worcester, when the station opened in 1982 . From then on, George joined BBC Hereford & Worcester where he later took on the Weekday mid-morning show. He then moved onto present the Weekday Breakfast show before retiring from the slot in mid 2005 ], when Howard Bentham took over. He still remains on BBC Hereford & Worcester , presenting a Saturday morning Gardening programme between 9 & 11am & a Sunday afternoon music programme from 3-6pm. In addition to this, he can also be heard covering various weekday presenters on both BBC Hereford & Worcester & BBC Radio Gloucestershire |
