Messier 100 (also known as '''''NGC 4321''''') is a Spiral Galaxy about 60 million Light-year s away in the Constellation Coma Berenices . It was discovered by Pierre Méchain in 1781 . It is one of the brightest members of the Virgo Cluster . There have been five Supernova e ( SN 1901B , SN 1914A , SN 1959E , SN 1979C and SN 2006X ) discovered within it Messier 100. NGC 4323 is a Satellite Galaxy of Messier 100
