Matterhorn Peak is a mountain in the U.S. State of California , at the northern boundary of Yosemite National Park . At 12,264 feet elevation, Matterhorn Peak is the tallest peak in the craggy Alp-like Sawtooth Ridge and the northernmost 12,000-foot peak in the Sierra Nevada. The peak also supports the Sierra's northernmost glacier system.
