Martin Wright ( 1935 - 2001 ) was a co-founder of the British Council Communist / Anarchist organisation Class War together with Ian Bone and others. Bone and Wright were also organisers as the anti-royalist group Movement Against The Monarchy (MA'M). He also worked with many other groups including the London Autonomists , production collective of Anarchy Magazine and at the London Action Resource Centre . He had a book called Camden Parasites , written with his brother Daniel Wright , under the pseudo name Daniel Lux , published in 1999 , by Unpopular Books . An Oil Painting of Martin Wright by Laura Norder was exhibited at '' The Foundry '', East London, as part of the '' We Get Restless '' exhibition from April 30th 2003 to 10th May 2003. He was accused of being "drawn to Fascist politics" by Clive Bloom in the book Violent London : 2000 Years of Riots, Rebels and Revolts, Publisher: Pan Macmillan (September 18, 2004) ISBN 0283073101. He never disputed the claim. |
