Winner of the Canadian Ladies Golf Association (CLGA) Open Amateurs in 1951, 1954, 1955, 1956, 1958, 1959, 1963, 1968, 1969, 1972, and 1973.

Winner of the CLGA Close Amateurs in 1951, 1952, 1953, 1954, 1955, 1956, 1957, 1963, and 1968.

Winner of the CLGA Senior Women's Amateur in 1985, 1987, 1988, and 1993.

Winner of the British Ladies' Amateur Champion in 1953.

Winner of the United States Women's Amateur in 1956.

Winner of the Australian Women's Amateur in 1963.

Winner 3 times of the United States Senior Women's Amateur.

HONOURS

In 1951 and 1956 , she was awarded the Lou Marsh Trophy .

In 1962 , she was inducted into Canada's Sports Hall Of Fame .

In 1967 , she was made an Officer of the Order Of Canada .

In 1971 , she was inducted into the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame.

In 2000 , she was inducted into the Ontario Golf Hall of Fame.

In 2004 , she was the first Canadian inducted into the World Golf Hall Of Fame
