Brigadier General Mark T. Kimmitt, US Army , who had previously served as the chief military spokesman for the Coalition Provisional Authority in Baghdad , is currently serving as the US Central Command’s deputy director for strategy and plans. Previously, Kimmitt served at NATO 's SHAPE headquarters in Belgium . Mark Kimmitt's father is Joseph Stanley Kimmitt (Stan), former Secretary Of The Senate and army colonel, who passed away in 2004.
