His first TV appearance with the band was on the Australian " Countdown " programme, in which they played "Baby Please Don't Go". He also appeared in several promotional videos, including the "It's A Long Way To The Top (If You Wanna Rock'n'Roll)" and "Jailbreak" film clips.

  • ---kin' got rid of him, that's the day the band started." Conversely, CEO for Epic Records Richard Griffiths, who used to work as a booking agent for AC/DC in the mid-1970s, has stated, "You knew Mark wasn't going to last, he was just too much of a nice guy."


After his departure from AC/DC, Evans played in a number of bands including Finch, Contraband and Heaven.
