The Maltese public chose Fabrizio Faniello to go to Eurovision in Athens with the song "I Do,” a very up-tempo pop song that contains Swedish sounds. Fabrizio’s song was a favourite to win the contest however the high quality of the songs in the Malta Song For Europe Festival made it a tough decision on who should represent the tiny island. The song is written and composed by Aldo Spiteri & Fabrizio Faniello. Fabrizio Faniello is a popular Maltese pop singer, who was born on 27 April 1981 and showed an interest in music at a young age by performing at festivals.
