''Lizard!'' or '''''Lizard''''' is a Webcomic created by Dave Kelly , also known as Shmorky . The comic is a Spin-off of Kelly's previous comic, '' Living In Greytown '' (LiG), and shares many of the same characters. Like LiG, the cast is a mix of human characters and Anthropomorphic animals. The comic bears the mock warning, "May Cause Boredom" as is typical of Kelly's self-deprecating style. The entire strip is told as if it's an entry in Lizard's journal. It should be noted that this is one of the author's more upbeat and inoffensive works, essentially free of the explicit humor he's often known for (rated "Web PG"). CAST There are some minor spoilers here. Family and friends ;Lizard :The protagonist. Lizard is your basic good-guy, father, husband, and co-worker. Somewhat niave. He never swears. His only "vice" is that he doesn't wear clothes. He does wear a tie to work because everyone has to wear a tie. Some are bothered by his squeaky clean image but most people like him. Has the annoying habit or telling the simple, plain, and obvious truth. ;Zoë :Lizard's wife and mother of Lizzy. Her mother is a dragon/lizard and her father was a human. Zoë's been a model but she's now happily settled down as Lizard's loving wife. She is fiercely protective of him and completely in love. She likes to "snuggle". Lizard doesn't get much sleep. ;Lizzy :Lizard and Zoë's daughter, a toddler. Lizzy takes after her mother's side of the family. She can be the innocent baby or the little trouble maker. She was conceived out of wedlock, but this doesn't bother anyone expect maybe Lizard's parents. ;Razor :Razor is your basic "troubled youth" character trying to better himself. Although he's not too bright, he has a good heart. Razor has been living with Lizard and Zoë since LiG. ;Sandy Rivers :Sandy is Razor's girlfriend. She is extremely intelligent although not everyone knows this. Sandy is a good influence on Razor and keeps him on the straight and narrow. She also lives with Lizard and Zoë. ;Claire :Zoë's half dragon, half lizard mother. She is huge and a little scary but very gentle hearted. Workplace ;Steven Swiftwing :Lizard's co-worker, a dragon. Good-hearted; basic geek. His hobby is making aminations out of Post-It notes. That he can't breath fire or fly is a bit of a sore point. It wouldn't bother Steven except that it marks him as inferior in the eyes of his parents. Only his older sister, Kenaya, supports him. ;Johnny Johnson :A hyperactive rabbit. Drinks too much coffee. He's Steven's side kick -- though this is not always reciprocated. A lady's man, he seems to only date women named Nancy. Lovable, but not terribly mature. ;Teddy (aka The Boss) :Lizard's boss at work. He is a Technophobe and can hardly bring himself to buy a new stapler. Seems to end up in the hostipal a lot. ;Jim :Razor's clueless boss at Boxes 'o Plenty. ;Jim Bossman :Lizard's Boss's son who becomes Lizard's boss. (Clear?) The only person who truly hates Lizard. ;Tommy :Johnson's intern and later friend. He has a secret crush on Johnson. ;Doris :Works in the cafeteria. Has the "shining". ;Drazzle :Lizard's Doppelgänger . ;Richardo :Uptight Christian. Carries around Chick Tracks . Other ;Christian Bellentine (aka Spike) :A blast from Razor's not-so-good past. ;Chuck :General sleezball at Sandy's college. Tries to hit on her. ;Susan :Lizard's old roommate from LiG.
