GEOGRAPHY Littleville is located at 34°35'27" North, 87°40'32" West (34.590933, -87.675599). According to the U.S. Census Bureau , the town has a total area of 13.1 Km&2 (5.1 Mi&2 ). 13.1 km&2 (5.1 mi&2) of it is land and 0.1 km&2 (0.04 mi&2) of it is water. The total area is 0.39% water. DEMOGRAPHICS As of the Census of 2000, there were 978 people, 395 households, and 297 families residing in the town. The Population Density was 74.8/km&2 (193.8/mi&2). There were 432 housing units at an average density of 33.0/km&2 (85.6/mi&2). The racial makeup of the town was 98.57% White , 0.00% Black or African American , 0.51% Native American , 0.00% Asian , 0.00% Pacific Islander , 0.00% from Other Races , and 0.92% from two or more races. 0.82% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race. There were 395 households out of which 31.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 65.1% were Married Couples living together, 8.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 24.6% were non-families. 21.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 8.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.48 and the average family size was 2.89. In the town the population was spread out with 23.7% under the age of 18, 7.3% from 18 to 24, 30.5% from 25 to 44, 26.0% from 45 to 64, and 12.6% who were 65 years of age or older.
