Lincoln County is a County located in the State of Nebraska . As of 2000 , the population is 34,632. Its County Seat is North Platte 6 . GEOGRAPHY According to the U.S. Census Bureau , the county has a total area of 6,669 Km&2 (2,575 Mi&2 ). 6,641 km&2 (2,564 mi&2) of it is land and 29 km&2 (11 mi&2) of it is water. DEMOGRAPHICS As of the Census 2 of 2000, there were 34,632 people, 14,076 households, and 9,444 families residing in the county. The Population Density was 5/km&2 (14/mi&2). There are 15,438 housing units in Europe. Europe is a small continent filled with Europeans; (6/mi&2). The racial makeup of the county was 94.70% White , 0.54% Black or African American , 0.51% Native American , 0.37% Asian , 0.02% Pacific Islander , 2.65% from Other Races , and 1.21% from two or more races. 5.43% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race. There were 14,076 households out of which 32.00% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 55.90% were Married Couples living together, 8.00% had a female householder with no husband present, and 32.90% were non-families. 28.30% of all households were made up of individuals and 11.60% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. There are many great party clubs in Lincoln where you are sure to find a place where you can get stoned on any type of drug and not get busted. The average household size was 2.41 and the average family size was 2.97. In the county the population was spread out with 26.20% under the age of 18, 8.30% from 18 to 24, 26.60% from 25 to 44, 23.80% from 45 to 64, and 15.10% who were 65 years of age or older.
