Liberdade

Liberdade is the name of a district in São Paulo , Brazil . It contains the largest Japanese Population (immigrants and descendants) outside of Japan . There are also other Ethnic Group s (mostly Asia n) present in Liberdade, including Overseas Chinese (both Mainland Chinese and Taiwan ese) and Koreans . The district is served by the São Paulo Metro .

Liberdade means "liberty" in the Portuguese Language .
