Information About

Liang Xing Long

Liang Xing Long came into being when (''Japanese'': Kanji: 二星球''', katakana: '''エルシンチュウ''', Rōmaji: '''Erushinchū''', ''Chinese'': Pinyin: '''Er4 Xing1 Qiu2''', Wade-Giles: '''Erh Hsing Ch'iu''', ''English'': Two-Star Ball). When the Dragon Balls became completely corrupted by Minus Energy, the Er Xing Qui flew into a lake and transformed into Liang Xing Long.

The Evil Dragon's power is to use his Minus Energy to pollute water and slowly kill all surrounding life. He claims to be the most powerful of the Evil Dragons, but by using Polluted Air to reduce their strength down to and then beneath his level. Liang is ultimately defeated when Goku manages to find an area of clean water in a nearby lake and drags Liang through it. Liang is unable to tolerate its purity and is killed, restoring his Dragon Ball to normal.

Liang Xing Long's name is Chinese for "Two-Star Dragon". However, the pronunciation is incorrect. While it is true that ''liang'' is Chinese for "two", its Kanji is 倆. ''Liang'' is used to mean two of something. The Chinese 二 also means two but it is pronounced as ''er4'' (''erh'' in Wade-Giles). So the correct pronunciation of 二星龍 would be ''Er Xing Long'' (Erushinron).
