In the African series, van den Berghe tried to figure out who had cast a second vote against him at the seventh Tribal Council (when Clarence Black was eliminated; this was dubbed the Witch Hunt ). Initially he believed Kelly Goldsmith was the offender. However, after her elimination, Teresa Cooper came forward to lay claim to the vote that had upset him. During the All-Star season, he made what was considered the single worst strategic move up to the moment of his elimination: when Boston Rob pleaded to him to spare Amber after she had lost immunity, Lex immediately trusted him to honor his word. Boston Rob immediately turned around and had him voted out. At the jury vote, Lex made no secret of the fact that he did not appreciate the move (and was one of the four jurors who voted to give Amber the million). In his own life, he is a father of two boys and the drummer of indie punk band LuckyDog. One of his many Tattoos is a drawing made by one of his sons. EXTERNAL LINKS |
