Lawrence Krauss also led an initiative to have a vote of no confidence in the current Case Western Reserve University president, Edward M. Hundert , based on the university's budget deficit and recent practices by university administration. The no-confidence vote took place amongst the faculty in the university's College of Arts and Sciences and was not binding because only the Case board of trustees can cancel the president's contract. The vote tally was 131-44 for no confidence. In part to due to this vote, Hundert tendered his resignation to the Board of Trustees on March 16, 2006. PUBLICATIONS
