Profit suffered a season ended injury and was waived on January 17, 2006 to make room for rookie Ronny Turiaf on the Lakers roster. COLLEGE CAREER Laron Profit finished his college career averaging 12.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game. Received Honorable Mention All-ACC Freshman honors in 1996, led the ACC in steals in 1997, selected to the All-ACC 3rd team in 1997,1998 and 1999, and named Honorable Mention All-American in 1998. |
