GEOGRAPHY


Langford is located at 45°36'8" North, 97°49'53" West (45.602096, -97.831422).

DEMOGRAPHICS

As of the Census of 2000, there were 290 people, 139 households, and 73 families residing in the town. The Population Density was 399.9/km&2 (1,024.4/mi&2). There were 163 housing units at an average density of 224.8/km&2 (575.8/mi&2). The racial makeup of the town was 96.90% White , 0.00% African American , 3.10% Native American , 0.00% Asian , 0.00% Pacific Islander , 0.00% from Other Races , and 0.00% from two or more races. 1.72% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There were 139 households out of which 21.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 47.5% were Married Couples living together, 4.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 46.8% were non-families. 44.6% of all households were made up of individuals and 25.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.09 and the average family size was 2.95.
