GEOGRAPHY Lake Winnebago is located at 38°49'45" North, 94°22'1" West (38.829238, -94.366989). According to the United States Census Bureau , the city has a total area of 6.0 Km&2 (2.3 Mi&2 ). 4.9 km&2 (1.9 mi&2) of it is land and 1.1 km&2 (0.4 mi&2) of it is water. The total area is 18.26% water. DEMOGRAPHICS As of the Census of 2000, there were 902 people, 350 households, and 289 families residing in the city. The Population Density was 185.2/km&2 (478.6/mi&2). There were 359 housing units at an average density of 73.7/km&2 (190.5/mi&2). The racial makeup of the city was 99.11% White , 0.00% African American , 0.11% Native American , 0.22% Asian , 0.00% Pacific Islander , 0.33% from Other Races , and 0.22% from two or more races. 2.33% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race. There were 350 households out of which 27.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 77.4% were Married Couples living together, 2.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 17.4% were non-families. 14.6% of all households were made up of individuals and 6.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.58 and the average family size was 2.84. In the city the population was spread out with 21.5% under the age of 18, 4.9% from 18 to 24, 22.6% from 25 to 44, 38.7% from 45 to 64, and 12.3% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 46 years. For every 100 females there were 92.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 96.1 males. The median income for a household in the city was $78,478, and the median income for a family was $87,150. Males had a median income of $56,500 versus $37,361 for females.
