Knoydart is a Peninsula in Lochaber , Highland , on the west coast of Scotland , sandwiched between Loch Nevis and Loch Hourn —often translated as "Heaven" and "Hell" respectively. It is sometimes referred to as " Britain 's last Wilderness", and has a resident population of roughly 100 adults. It is only accessible by boat, or by a 16 Mile (26 Km ) walk through rough country. It has seven miles of tarred road, which is not connected to the UK road system. It includes the Munro s of Ladhar Bheinn (1020 m) and Sgurr Na Ciche (1040 m).
