Kitgum is a 2001 , Kitgum was divided in two, creating the current Kitgum and Pader districts. The district is bordered by Gulu, Pader, Kotido districts and, to the north, Sudan . Since 1986, it has been affected by the Lord's Resistance Army insurgency. There are numerous IDP ( Internally Displaced Person ) camps throughout the district. EXTERNAL LINKS |
