Information AboutKingdom Come (band) |
|
Kingdom Come's sound was highly derivative of Led Zeppelin 's, to the point that some listeners initially thought that Kingdom Come was actually a Led Zeppelin reunion. The band's first single, "Get It On," was enough of a hit on AOR stations that the band's eponymous debut went Gold . However, the subsequent backlash against the band's appropriating of the Zeppelin sound (earning them the derisive moniker "Kingdom Clone") hurt their commercial appeal, and after the band's second album failed to sell well, all members other than Wolf quit the group. Former Warrant members Rick Steier and James Kottak were in Kingdom Come before they were in Warrant. They played on ''Kingdom Come'' and ''In Your Face''. James Kottak is now in Scorpions . MEMBERS
