Kevin Hamilton McDonald (born May 16 , 1961 in Montreal ) is a Canadian comedian and actor, best known as a member of the Canadian sketch comedy group '' Kids In The Hall ''. Characters played by Kevin on the show include Simon and the King of Empty Promises. During his youth he had a weight problem, a fact which is mocked and attested to in several Kids In The Hall sketches and Monologues .
