Kentucky Thunder is the band that plays with Ricky Skaggs. It is a group of outstanding musicians, many of which have won numerous awards. The current lineup is; Cody Kilby-Lead Guitar Darrin Vincent-Rhythm Guitar and Harmony Vocals Paul Brewster-Rhythm Guitar and Harmony Vocals Andy Leftwich-Fiddle Jim Mills-Banjo Mark Fain-Bass And of course, bandleader Ricky Skaggs plays Mandolin and is the lead vocalist. The group has won the Instrumental Group of the Year award from the International Bluegrass Music Association multiple times. |
