In the Film '' Asoka '', Kaurwaki is the adopted daughter of the king of Kalinga . As the movie goes she meets Ashoka (who is traveling under the Pseudonym of "Pawan") in the jungle when he is in exile and falls in love with him. Then fate separates them and while Ashoka believes she died, Kaurwaki goes back to Kalinga. Later on she mobilizes peasants and women to fight against Ashoka. |
