Kandi is a town in northern Benin . Originally a Market Town , Kandi is now primarily a Farming centre. It lies on the nation's main north-south highway. It was a slave trade center in the mid 2nd millennium CE. The town lies in the state of Alibori and is expected to become its capital. |
