Jukka reluctantly agreed and accompanied Fleetscut on his search for more help, although her relationship with the old hare was a tense one. Eventually Jukka, Fleetscutt, and the squirrels met up with Lord Brocktree at the Court of King Bucko. They raised an army and prepared an assault to retake Salamandastron, where Trunn then held rule and Stonepaw had been slain. Jukka had her tail shaven and was disguised as a rat to infiltrate the mountain. However, she was unmasked by Trunn himself, and chased by rats into the catacombs beneath the mountain. It is here that she met once again with Fleetscutt, seperated from Brocktree and his group, who had infiltrated the mountain from below. The squirrel and hare made a final stand beneath the mountain, friends at last. Both Jukka and Fleetscut perished in the battle. Jukka was succeeded by Ruro as leader of the tribe. |
