CAREER In 1993, he had a major hit with ''Jessie'' from his first album ''Painted desert serenade''. Supposedly, he wrote the song dealing with the break-up with Sarah Jessica Parker . Other successful songs from the album are ''Picture postcards from L. A.'' and ''Beautiful in my eyes''. His second album was less successful and the only single ''Take it on faith'' failed to reach higher chart positions. After that, EMI voided the contract with Kadison. In 1998, after a 3-year-pause he published his book ''17 ways to eat a mango: A discovered journal of life on an island of miracles'' and the 5-track-EP ''Saturday night in Storyville'' on a small label. Another three years later he became a new contract with EMI and his last album ''Vanishing America'', produced by Leslie Mandoki , was published. The album flopped and the single ''Carolina’s eyes'' was unsuccessful. DISCOGRAPHY
