at the 2006 LA Auto Show .]] The Jeep Gladiator was a full-size Pickup Truck based on the ''' SJ ''' Jeep Wagoneer SUV . It was introduced in 1963 . The Gladiator name was dropped after 1970, after which the line was known as the J-Series. In late 2004 a new Jeep Gladiator concept was introduced.
