Jacob Ellsworth Daubert ( April 7 , 1884 in Shamokin, Pennsylvania - October 9 , 1924 in Cincinnati, Ohio ) was a First Baseman in Major League Baseball for the Brooklyn Superbas/Robins (1910-1918) and the Cincinnati Reds (1919-1924). He was left-handed. In his career, he Batted .303 with 56 Home Run s and 722 RBIs . He had 2326 career Hits in 7673 At Bat s. He also had 251 career Stolen Base s, averaging 20 a season. He was the National League 's Chalmers Award winner in 1913 . Daubert won two Batting Title s (1913, 1914). He batted .350 in 1913, his career-best.
