Ivor Bueb (born June 6 , 1923 in Cheltenham , Dulwich , London - dead August 1 , 1959 in Clermont-Ferrand , France ) was a Sports Car Racing and Formula One driver from England .

He participated in 6 grands prix, debuting on May 19 , 1957 . He scored 0 championship points.

Bueb started racing seriously in a Formula 3 500cc Cooper in 1953, graduating to occasional starts in Grands Prix with a Connaught and a private Maserati. He is best known for sharing the winning Jaguar D-type with Mike Hawthorn in the 1955 24 Hours Of Le Mans , a success he repeated with Ron Flockhart in the Ecurie Ecosse car in 1957.

He died from injuries sustained when he crashed his British Racing Partnership Cooper - Borgward Formula Two car at Charade Circuit near Clermont-Ferrand .
