IA-5 transmits both free-to-air (FTA) direct home broadcasting and subscription channels. Its FTA channels include Christian -based stations in several languagess, including The Church Channel , God's Learning Channel , Daystar , JCTV , Smile Of A Child , TBN Enlace , CNL , RBN , AlKarma , Miracle Channe and Trinity Broadcasting Network , secular english language channel Gameznflix , and several International Broadcasters , especially from the Middle East , including Abu Dhabi TV , Al-Iraqiya , BVN , Thai Global Network , and TV Romania International , as well as a large number of Persian Language broadcasters, principally operating out of the United States , often from the Los Angeles area.

The Ku-band side of the satellite currently carries the platforms of GlobeCast World TV , Glorystar , RRSat , ABS-CBN , and ETTV America , with free-to-air and encrypted television and radio programming in a variety of languages:
