Inner Circle is a Reggae group from Jamaica , responsible for the 1989 song " Bad Boys ," which serves as the Theme Song for Fox Network 's long-running Television Program '' COPS ''. They also had a big hit with the 1993 song " Sweat (A La La La La Long) ." The popularity of these two international hits has caused the band to be viewed as somewhat of a Two-hit Wonder . This is incorrect however as they have been producing hits for 20 years, especially before Jacob Miller was killed in a car crash in 1980. Inner Circle were at the forefront of 'Rockers' music the mid 1970's, and as well as producing serious reggae numbers with Jacob Miller they also had a soul/reggae style all their own, producing covers of songs like 'The Sound Of Philadelphia' from the popular televised soul revue show 'Soul Train'. Inner Circle, with Jacob Miller on lead vocals, signed for Island Records for the album 'Everything Is Great', released in 1979. This album reached top 20 in the UK and preceded their other chart success by some years. MEMBERS
