HISTORY

Indian Mountain School was founded as a boarding school for boys in 1922. Co-educational boarding started in the 1991-1992 school year, although day-student admission had been co-educational for some time. Indian Mountain and Town Hill, formerly two separate institutions, merged in the late 1990's.

Indian Mountain School is often abbreviated as IMS.
