THE MUSICAL

The musical had a long run on Broadway (1,417 performances). The music and lyrics were written by Frank Loesser and book by Abe Burrows , Jack Weinstock , and Willie Gilbert . The show garnered Burrows and Loesser the 1962 Pulitzer Prize For Drama .
