Information About

Home Grown

Originally Ska -punkers Home Grown formed in 1993 in Orange County, California. Comprising singer/bassist Adam Lohrbach , singer/guitarist John E. Trash (now going by his real name John Tran ), guitarist Ian Cone and drummer Bob Herco , the group debuted in 1995 with "Face in the Crowd", a track on the memorable Liberation Records compilation ''Punk Sucks''; the seminal Orange County label then issued Home Grown's full-length debut, ''That's Business'', later that same year. The EP ''Wusappaning?!'' followed in 1996 , after which the group signed to major-label Outpost to release 1998's ''Act Your Age''. ''Connections'' followed two years later. Since then they have signed with Drive-Thru Records and have released an album "Kings of Pop" and an EP "When It All Comes Down" with new guitarist Dan Hammond and drummer Darren Reynolds.

In April 2005, long time bassist for the band Adam Lohrbach left Home Grown to be in his new band New Years Day . John Tran started his own band Red Panda while Dan Hammond joined the band Paper Models .
