Helena High School is one of three high schools in the Helena School District.
Four foreign languages are taught at Helena High: French , German , Latin , and Spanish . Lance Dyrdahl is the Latin teacher. Spanish is taught by Sarah Van Stry, Linda Ringwald, Julie Pederson, and Danna Sinnott. Susan Bartels and Jane Mends both teach French, and Toni Person is the sole German teacher.
SCIENCE FACULTY
The science faculty at Helena High School consists of Doug Shenkle, Mike Smith, Jan Hill, Jim Schulz, Jay Veneziano, Dave Thennis, Missy Sampson, Julie Beaver, Rod Benson, Gerald McCarthy, and Sandy Wardell . Sandy Wardell is the coordinator, and is known both by students and faculty as The Warden.
