Heather Donahue (born 22 December , 1974 in Upper Darby , Pennsylvania ) is an American Actress most famous for her role—under her real name—in the movie '' The Blair Witch Project ''. She also starred in '' Taken '', the Steven Spielberg -produced Miniseries based around tales of Alien Abduction . Before landing her role in ''Blair Witch'', Donahue appeared in commercials for Steak N Shake restaurants.
