''Head over Heels'' is an August 1983 Album by British rock group Cocteau Twins . The album was their first as a duo.

''Head over Heels'' is a mix of sonic textures, melodies and harmonies. Though the album's popularity has always been limited, it remains a favourite with the group's fanbase and has influenced numerous other musicians. The album's impact can be seen in the Britpop boom of the mid- 1990s , and many of the styles which preceded it, including Shoegazing , Twee Pop and Space Rock .

The United Kingdom and Canadian cassette and CD versions of ''Head Over Heels'' included the EP '' Sunburst And Snowblind ''.
