Harvard-Westlake is an exclusive college preparatory school in Los Angeles, California . Serving grades seven through twelve, the school is the product of the 1989 merger of Harvard School for Boys (founded in 1900) and Westlake School for Girls (founded in 1904).

The former Harvard campus, located in North Hollywood , is now the location of the upper school (grades 10 through 12). The former Westlake campus, located near the Bel-Air neighborhood on the Westside , currently houses the middle school (grades 7 through 9).

Harvard-Westlake is noted for high college acceptance rates and subsequent attendance. Currently, approximately 99% of all graduating seniors attend a four-year college or university.

Students are usually committed to their schoolwork as well as a variety of extracurricular activities; there are currently over 500 clubs affiliated with the school. The upper grades at Harvard-Westlake are notable for a very rigorous Curriculum . Most Advanced Placement tests are available. There is a community service requirement in order to graduate. Aside from academics, the student newspaper, ''The Chronicle'', has been inducted into the high school newspaper Hall of Fame.
