At its peak, Harbinger had 1,100 employes, 40,000 active customers, and annual revenues exceeding $155 million. After Peregrine went into bankruptcy following 2002 accounting scandals, Harbinger Commerce was divested from Peregrine and sold off to Golden Gate Capital and ultimately renamed Inovis. Due to TradeMark issues, Harbinger Commerce continued in Europe, as a wholly owned subsidiary of Inovis, until Jan 06 whereupon it changed name to Inovis UK Ltd, (Inovis having now purchased the Inovis TradeMark in the UK).
