Landvetter is an international Airport serving the Gothenburg region in Sweden . It is the second-largest Swedish airport (after Stockholm-Arlanda Airport ), serving around 4 million passengers each year (as of 2004).

The airport is named after the small town of Landvetter , which is located in the municipality of Härryda . It is 20 km east of Gothenburg and 40 km west of Borås.


AIRLINES AND DESTINATIONS


On top of this, many charter flights are operated, in the warmer months mostly to Spain , Greece and Turkey . In the winter especially the Canary Islands and Thailand are served, plus ski trips to France and Austria .


GROUND TRANSPORTATION


Bus: ''Flygbussarna'' takes you to the city of Gothenburg in 30 min (70 SEK ) and to the city of Borås in 35 min (80 SEK ).
