After the break-up, Gerry Marsden maintained a low-key career on television, and starred in the West End musical, '' Charlie Girl ''. He is most remembered for the songs, "I Like it" and his rendition of " You'll Never Walk Alone ", which has been adopted as an anthem of both Liverpool F.C. and Celtic F.C. . He sang the song on the Celtic Park turf when they hosted Liverpool, the team idolised as a boy. EXTERNAL LINKS |
