When AC/DC singer Bon Scott died in 1980 (who praised Johnson's vocal talent), AC/DC chose Brian Johnson to take over lead vocal duties. He left Geordie that same year and first appeared on AC/DC's hugely successful album '' Back In Black ''. Geordie then recorded an album without Brian named ''No Sweat'' in 1983 which didn't have much success. They later changed their name to Powerhouse and released an eponymous album in 1986 before disbanding. They reunited with Johnson for a comeback gig sometime in the '90s during an AC/DC hiatus.
