Information About

Generation X (band)

They signed with Chrysalis Records in the summer of 1977.

Some followers of the punk movement considered the band to be poseurs due to their brand of pop punk and their Rock 'n Roll image.

They broke up in 1981 and Billy pursued a solo career in America, where he became a substantial pop star. The band's most prominent hits included "Dancing With Myself" and "Kiss Me Deadly".
